My Favorite Things

Clouds   |   Waterfalls   |   Rainbows   |   Rain

I smile even now, as I recall childhood memories of walking aimlessly in the rain.  Going nowhere in particular, just enjoying the cool rain falling upon me. I remember seeing a rainbow in our backyard. My siblings & I ran around desperately trying to find its end. I find waterfalls to be so calming. Whether I'm hearing it's soft flow or heavy  downpour, it can be very relaxing.  Did you ever play a game where you tried to  figure out what shape the clouds looked like to you? Laughing now, those were great times. I guess that's why these are stll my favorite things to this day.

My Passions

Dance

Dancing is an outward expression of my inner heart. It truly is, ministry in motion.  There's something special about movement for the audience of One, (Abba Father). Sometimes it's hard to describe the way dance makes you feel. There is an unbridled sense of freedom in movement that causes you to draw closer to the heart of God. Your worship, praise and adoration begin to deepen and that also ignites your passion even more. I've had the pleasure of being both, Director & Assistant Director of liturgical dance & mime ministries in church. This expanded over a broad age group from ages 5 yrs to adults. I have graduated from courses (EITI) where I received certification in Dance and Leadership. Most recently, I completed an amazing training program through Sculpture World School of Dance (SWSD) in Atlanta, GA. I am a member of Passion for Worship Dance Ministries Int'l. Where it truly is, more than dance. It's ministry beyond the four walls.

Women's Ministry

I've always had a passion to help people.  However, as I went through different circumstances in my own life, I realized that many women were hurting. Some in the same manner as I, or for many, far worse. I understood the damage that loss of any magnitude or type had and just how brokenness could attempt to derail your healing.  Maybe even keep you bound by so much pain, that you never seek safety in The Master's arms. You never believe that peace, joy or love can be obtained and experienced.  Well, I decided to dispel those myths.  My "Yes" is your Yes!! Woman of God, you can and you shall live beyond your past. There's a very bright future ahead of you.  Go ahead, embrace it!
